Current Toggle function which displays Feature Box when marker is clicked Map = new (document.getElementById("map_canvas"), myOptions) "If 'Marker A' is clicked, open up 'div A' and if 'Marker B' is clicked while 'Marker A' is open, then close 'Div A' and open up 'Div B'. I imagine I would want to write a function that says. This is what I have so far, to get a concept of what I'm doing. When another marker is clicked, that previous div closes and the new div opens up. What I want to do is make a specific div pop up which is related to the marker that was clicked on. To add a new image to the style at runtime see the Add an icon to the map example. To view all available images in a styles sprite or add additional images, open the style in Mapbox Studio and click the Images tab.

Then find all links in the layer/div underneath the top layer, and see if its position on the screen falls around the current mouse position. The icon-image used in this example comes from the Mapbox Streets styles sprite. You would need to capture the click event on the top layer/div, and find the cursor x-y position. What I have is a bunch of markers displaying on the map, these are loaded from an array and displayed with a function. This example uses the Mapbox Streets style. But throw a little logic on it and sanity surfaces again.I'm pretty new to javascript and I'm learning as I go along, so sorry if this is simple. ) That kind of stuff reminds me of Groundhog Day. So refreshing a page wont keep animating the submenu. I’m considering using a jQuery animation to display the submenu, but only if the referring page doesn’t have a submenu. So after a little reworking of the ALA example I finally had something I could work with. Of course it just expands on ALA’s sliding door, but using only 1 image instead of a right and left image.Īnd I’m a perfectionist, but I guess I’ll just have to forget about those 6 pixels, lol. It is for a client, but I will also be porting it to WP and possibly writing up a tutorial about it. I’ve been developing it for the past few days. Let me know if I’m not clear enough in my explanation. And well that would be similar to an image map in HTML.

I guess the closest comparison would be how you can designate hit boxes in Flash. Is there any way to get the submenu to work 100% correctly? finally, we will get the API key to authenticate the locations. We can set the marker after adding the google map in the HTML page mainly it contains three steps.1.
I figure I could use an image map and hardcode the overlaps of the menu, but then that’s not making this whole navigation block very portable. We will call the google map API on our web page using
